Poetry: He Lives

Have you ever wondered do God really lives? Well, I hope this poem will provide some insight for you. Many events in our lives take place and we become overcomers as well as conquerors. Knowing that the situation was too big for us to handle, we begin to just be thankful that we ovecame the situation. But, have we really taken the time to sit and think how there was some supernatural power needed for us to overcome the situation.

He lives and sits on his throne above like the clouds sit in the sky.  Like a squirrel lying dead in the middle of the street, I could have died.  I don’t know how my mind is being kept for I should be like a psycho seeking to do harm. Instead, like an angel covering me with his wings, he widely opens his arms;

Covering me with a shield, like a soldier is covered with armor for war, I should be like an alcoholic, seeking expensive drinks daily at the bar;

I have been through the wilderness like Moses for 40 days and 40 nights; I’ve been lost like an unknown traveler, but he assisted me with his glorious light.  For I know he is not dead, in fact, he rose on the third

day like self-rising flour; he is alive and I can call on him any second, any minute, even in the midnight hour;

Events in life are like friends that go and come, come and go.  He saved me from the pit, called “Sheol.”  Death knocked at my door like a postman with a certified letter; he has been with me through the hot, cold, gloomy, rainy, and stormy weather.  He protects me like a cat protects her kittens and a dog protect her pups.  Oh yes, he lives each and every day because I feels his steadfast love.  He never treated me like a baby; around my neck, there’s no bib—but he trained me like a soldier for war, yes, he lives!

Poetry: Ole Dark Days

This poem, "Ole Dark Days" from Inspirational poems for the Storms by Tamarah Mack is to encourage someone that we don't have to settle for the dark days that may appear in our life. Dark days may consist of :

·         Oppression

·         Depression

·         Grief

·         Unhappiness

·         Disappointments

For every event of darkness, at some point we will soon begin to see the light shine. Be inspired, encouraged, and uplifted.

Darkness surrounds me in every direction I turn
the dark clouds are hovering over my head, for
the Savior, I yearn; I cry out because my help is
beyond the hills.  I cry out hoping my voice reaches
where the Savior lives;

I cry out because I need to see the light and sunshine.
My Savior, I still praise thee in the midst of these dark times; ole dark days are just here for a short period of time—please remove the darkness and give me a peace of mind;

It is so dark till I don’t know whether to turn left or right.  It aggravates me when the days appear to be night; I am tossing and turning and I can’t even sleep, while lying down, blackness is all that I see;

I am walking through the tunnels and valleys trying to find my way, for the Almighty is the only one who can diminish these ole dark days.

Poetry: The Demonic Man That Bothers Me

When we have gotten over our past and our failures, it seems like someone who knew of our past and old ways tend to highlight our past in front of others. This is to inspire and encourage someone that they can get rid of the demonic man that tends to bother us. The Demonic Man may be a relative, friend, co-worker, neighbor, or it may be just simple thoughts in our mind to cause us to be oppressed or depressed.

The enemy roams to and fro seeking whom he may devour, but I was put on this earth to make his taste buds sour.  He seeks to cause heartaches and pain—this man is evil! I mean he is totally insane;

 He seeks to cause disappointments in areas that I strive and strive; he seeks to see me dead, thank God I am still alive.  The enemy is real and so am I.  He keeps telling me, “I am not going to make it,” but he is a lie.  This man goes to the extreme in what he does, but I strive harder, for there is power in me that makes him like a car without a starter;

He seeks to cause stress, anxiety, bondage, and oppression; I refuse to bow down, for I plan to teach him a lesson.  I am taking back my health –I am free in Jesus name.  I am more than a conqueror and I have the victory;

It’s time to take back all that belongs to me and more; I am coming boldly to kick down Satan’s door.  To the doors of deliverance, abundance, and joy, I already have the key.  I speak aggressively,

“Get Out,” I’m speaking to the demonic man that bothers me.

Poetry: He's My Everything

When you feel alone and seems like there is no one to call on? When it seems like those you call on are not showing up as you expected them to? Be inspired with the poem from Inspirational Poems for the Storms by Tamarah Mack entitled, "He's My Everything". Because when others turn their backs, everytime Jesus is always there waiting to meet our needs. Be inspired and uplifted!

Have you ever seen a man that can do so much?  His hands are so powerful, have you ever felt his loving touch?  He is a lawyer and judge in a courtroom; he keeps me protected throughout the night and noon;

Have you seen one person who can be everywhere?  To show those who are lost that he really does care.  He is a doctor when you need a healing, he doesn’t mind showing others that he is willing.  He can be a grocery store when you need food and allow you to stay calm when people act so rude;

He is a supervisor when you need a promotion; his spirit is smooth and calm as the ocean.  He is a bank when you need money, he will make your broke days sunny;

He will swamp you with blessings that you wouldn’t believe; on his shoulder, you can always lean.  I am so proud to say, “He is my everything.”

Poetry: I Heard

Be inspired and uplifted with the poem entitled, "I Heard" from Inspirational Poems for the Storms.

I heard of the name, Jesus Christ, have you?  I am

a living witness of what he can do.  Known as the Alpha and Omega—the beginning and end, the one who has washed away all of my sins;

You may not believe it, but he has opened blinded eyes that can now see; he has broken chains off prisoners’ hands and feet.  Unstopped deaf ears that can now hear every word spoken, even the dead he has awaken;

 He fed a multitude with two fishes and five loaves of bread; even performed miracles for those who have been shot in the head.  Many people should not be here today, but they are alive and doing well;

 He has been so good to me; of his good deeds, the world I must tell.  Let me spread the word, when asked about Jesus—he’s king of kings and Lord of Lords.

So, what have you heard?

Poetry: Who?

There may be many friends and family members you may love dearly. But when trials and tribulations enter your life, who will truly be there to the end when everyone else has walked away? Be inspired and uplifted with "Who" from the poetry book, Inspirational Poems for the Storms.

Who?

Who is going to love me like the Almighty King?  Who is willing to be my everything?  Rock me constantly in the midnight hour when I can’t sleep, wipe my eyes consistently when I weep;

Who will protect me keeping danger and harm away?  When I am bothered by my circumstances, who will assure me that it’s going to be okay?  Who will provide heat when I am cold?  Who will give me knowledge and wisdom as I grow old?

Who will say “Yes” when my enemies say “No?”  Over the ugly situations, who will take control?  Who will give me bread when I am hungry?  Who will give me water when I am thirsty?  Who will pick me up when I tend to fall?  Who will remove the barriers, mountains and brick walls?

Who will hear me when I scream for help?  Who will cancel all of my debts?  When my world is so cloudy and misty blue?  Who will remove the cloudiness? Just who!

Poetry: Stagnation

Many people enjoy just talking about the things they want to do or the things they wish they would have done. Yet, they have breath in their body and has been given another day to live. So, they have been granted another chance to. So, when there is another day granted, one should use that day to their advantage because the next day isn't promised to none of us. Therefore, I would like to share a poem from my poetry book, "Inspirational Poems for the Storms" entitled Stagnation. This poem is to encourage someone to go forth to achieve their goals and dreams.

Stagnation

You are walking but where are you going?  You are sleeping. Do you realize that you are snoring?  You are standing still, why you will not move?

You claim to be smart; why allow the enemy to use you as a fool?  You are singing, but what is the name of that song?  You claim to be strong, but you refuse to hold on;

You are tired and I don’t understand why.  You were off today and you have not been moving.  You claim to be humble and patient; why are you full of anticipation?  You have just been diagnosed with stagnation.
